However, one of our favorite sailing destinations we have put together is the one that starts from vibrant Split, the second largest town in Croatia and ends in beautiful town Dubrovnik known for its history and popular for being a filming destination for Game of Thrones series.

Weather conditions

Summertime in Croatia provides a nice warm climate and being on sailing boats gives you the perfect amount of daily breeze while you sail from bay to bay. This typically Mediterranean climate produces warm dry summers with many sunny hours so the chances of you having bad weather during your holidays are really low. 

You can expect temperatures around 30°C throughout July/August and around 23°C in May, June, September & October. The wind in Croatia from the northwest has an average wind speed of 7/8 knots and it can grow to 10-20 knots for some exhilarating sailing!
